Create User Accounts (Admin only)

Open portal: https://app.hemwell.info/
-
Welcome email: Locate the email with the username, temporary password, and portal link.
-
Sign in: Enter username + temp password → reset password if prompted.

User Management: From the dashboard top-right, go to Admin → User Management.
-
Add User: Click Add User, complete required fields (name, email, etc.).
-
Assign Role: Set the correct Role (controls access).
-
One account per practitioner: Each doctor must have their own login.
First-Time Desktop App Install (one-time per workstation)
(Admin only)

In a browser, go to app.hemwell.info/login and sign in as an Admin.

Click your Profile icon → Desktop App → Download for Windows.
-
Run HemWell-Installer.exe. If Windows shows a SmartScreen prompt:
a. Choose More info → Run anyway.

When asked who can use the app, choose Anyone who uses this computer → Install.

Leave Run HemWell checked → click Finish.
Daily Quality Control Test (once per handle per day)

Open the HemWell desktop app → choose Medical Practitioner.
-
Plug in the treatment handle via USB.
-
Confirm the screen shows “8888”.
-
Press TEST → verify PASS.
If QC does not pass: reseat the USB cable, try a different port, power-cycle the workstation, then repeat QC.
Register the Device (Admin)
When to do this: First-time setup on a new workstation or when adding a new treatment handle/device.
Steps

Open portal: Go to https://app.hemwell.info/ and sign in.

Navigate: From the top navigation bar, click Device → Device.

Register: Click Register Device (top-right).

Enter details:
a. Device Name
b. Serial Number (exactly as printed on the device/label)
c. Room (e.g., Exam 2)
d. Office Location -
Save: Click Save (or Register) to complete.
Verify it worked

The device appears in the Device list with the correct name/serial number.
-
Status shows as registered/active (refresh the page if needed).
Practitioner Login & Starting Work
-
Launch the HemWell app from the desktop.
-
Sign in with practitioner username + password.
-
Choose a workflow:
a. New Procedure — start a new case.
b. Previous Procedures — resume an in-progress case.
Procedure Page status colors
-
Yellow = Ready
-
Red = In progress
-
Blue = Completed
Total Current Time updates automatically.
Timer Mode Basics (Optional)
-
Tap TIMER (set/reset) to edit time.
-
UP/DOWN adjusts in 30-second steps.
-
UP (when not flashing) starts the current timer.
-
Long-press DOWN to end.
Quick Troubleshooting
-
Can’t log in? Reset the password from the portal login page or have Admin confirm the account exists in User Management with the correct Role.

Installer blocked? Use More info → Run anyway, or run as Admin.
-
Handle not detected? Try a different USB port/cable; confirm Medical Practitioner mode; redo Daily Quality Control Test.

Implanted electrical device below the diaphragm
